Musk is expected to lead a new initiative called the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) if Trump wins the 2024 elections. It seems like this has been a driving force for Musk. He has been mainly advocating for free speech which according to him will be snatched away from the US citizens if Harris wins the 2024 elections.
