Building a Reputation: a New Approach to Crypto News Farming

Reputation is the basis of trust in the crypto world, and trust is the foundation of success in the community. At Crypto News, we strive to create a strong and healthy community. For this purpose, we are implementing a mechanism that will allow each user to participate in the formation of reputation, and earn more TPS in farming based on this.

Reputation: your strength in the community

Our new mechanism is aimed at rewarding users who make a valuable contribution to the development of the community, and at pessimizing those who harm its atmosphere.

• Icons near the nickname. If the user gets a lot of certain reactions, it will be displayed to the right of his nickname. Reactions have different value, some are higher, others are lower. This will allow us to separate useful comments from useless and / or spam.

• The most important reaction is

  (crown). Users who have earned a certain number of crowns will receive this icon and will be able to receive an additional bonus to TPS.

• Negative reactions will also be visible. If user receives many negative ratings, they will also be displayed near their nickname, which will lead to penalties ot even total loss in the accrual of TPS. Thus, writing meaningless messages may not be profitable for farming.

How does it work?

Your reactions will become the basis for forming a reputation, such as:

– a negative reaction to a comment that is not useful and written just for the sake of farming;

– the highest award for expert and high-quality content.

Reputation is like good wine — it only gets more expensive over time

Crypto News will collect this data when calculating the final TPS for farming participants. This is only the first version of the feature, and in the future we plan to develop and supplement it to make the system even more effective.

Your contribution to the formation of the community is an investment in your name. Take care of your reputation, because it only becomes more valuable over time. Use the new tool responsibly: now you have the opportunity to build trust in your opinions, as well as evaluate the reputation of other users and thus influence the quality of the community as a whole.

We would like to note that user activity when receiving reactions will be checked to prevent any abuse. Do not cheat — using bots and other dishonest methods to boost accounts is forbidden, we remind you that farming rules includes penalties up to a total loss of TPS.
