COTI Partners with Plume to Enhance Privacy in Tokenized Real-World Assets

COTI has partnered with Plume, a prominent Layer 1 blockchain platform for tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs). This partnership aims to resolve the issue of privacy for transactions in blockchain-based RWA solutions. Through this strategic collaboration, Plume Network will have COTI’s Privacy-on-Demand (PoD) technology to offer its users higher levels of privacy.

The total RWAs market is expected to be more than $30 trillion, thus representing a link between traditional finance (TradFi) and blockchain. Nevertheless, there is a great potential demand for them due to the lack of anonymous transaction options. The integration of COTI’s PoD solution will provide secure and compliant private transactions across various blockchain platforms.

Plume’s RWA Platform and Privacy Integration

Plume has positioned itself as one of the leaders in the blockchain tokenization of financial assets, which allows trading and integration to DeFi. Plume, a fully EVM-compatible platform, aids in seamlessly onboarding multiple RWAs and helps asset tokenization be easily and rightly managed.

Plume will benefit from integrating COTI’s PoD technology, which is based on the Ethereum network and facilitates privacy across transactions using various cryptographic protocols, such as garbled circuits in PoD. This integration enables Plume to provide privacy options to its users while working with more than 70 blockchains using cross-chain communication protocols, like Axelar.

Plume’s RWA Ecosystem and Role in Blockchain

Blockchain technology is focused on real-world asset tokenization and privacy. COTI offers more extensive privacy solutions combined with the company’s network, which now counts over 180 projects, and Plume’s tokenization engine operations.

Chris Yin, the CEO of Plume, echoed the need to offer privacy to RWAs for the services to gain popularity, following this deal that aims to meet the emerging demands for secure financial solutions in the blockchains.

Vice-chairman of Stake Shahaf Bar Geffen noted that the COTI partnership can help generate a large amount of liquidity and bring huge value to the blockchain market. The collaboration between Plume and COTI brings solutions for both RWA tokenization and the privacy layer, enabling institutions and individual users to safely and compliantly make efficient transactions at scale.
