Societe Generale-FORGE Launches EUR Coinvertible on XRP Ledger With Ripple Support

Societe Generale-FORGE has expanded its euro-backed stablecoin EUR Coinvertible to the $XRP Ledger, accelerating institutional blockchain adoption in Europe and deepening Ripple integration as compliant digital assets gain momentum across global financial markets.

Societe Generale-FORGE, the digital assets subsidiary of French banking group Societe Generale, announced on Feb. 18 that its euro-backed stablecoin, EUR Coinvertible, has launched on the $XRP Ledger (XRPL), expanding its multi-chain deployment strategy.

“In line with its multi-chain deployment strategy, SG-FORGE is thrilled to announce that EUR Coinvertible is now launched on the $XRP Ledger (the XRPL),” the company stated, adding:

“The launch of EUR Coinvertible on the XRPL is being supported by Ripple’s custody solution.”

It added: “There will also be an opportunity to explore new use cases, including incorporating EUR Coinvertible into Ripple’s products and leveraging it as trading collateral.”

The latest rollout follows previous deployments of EUR Coinvertible on Ethereum and Solana, underscoring SG-FORGE’s focus on compliant digital assets designed to meet regulatory standards while broadening institutional access to blockchain-based financial instruments. The integration enables SG-FORGE to leverage the scalability, speed, and low transaction costs of the $XRP Ledger.
