SHIB Airdrop Promoted on Fake Telegram Groups

In an X post yesterday, Shibarmy Scam Alerts disclosed the presence of a Telegram group targeting Shiba Inu community members. According to the announcement, the group’s admins promote fake SHIB airdrops through the messaging platform in an attempt to steal users’ funds.

To keep Shiba Inu enthusiasts safe, Shibarmy Scam Alerts urged the community to always verify SHIB-related information through official sources. It cautioned against falling prey to “Claim Your Rewards” ads. Finally, users are recommended to contact the ecosystem team on Discord whenever they are unsure about any information.

Malicious Facebook Post Targeting Shiba Inu Community

Furthermore, the channel also called attention to malicious Facebook posts targeting Shiba Inu community members. According to the warning, these malicious posts create a false sense of urgency and trick potential victims into believing they are missing out on free tokens.

The alert channel warned SHIB holders not to engage with these fraudulent posts. Additionally, it suggested that users should always verify information, avoid “Claim Your Rewards” ads, and contact Shiba Inu’s official Discord channel whenever they are in doubt.

“SHIBARMY, don’t let these scammers take what you’ve worked so hard to earn. Always double-check, and be sure before you do anything,” the post warned.

Wallet Syncing Alert

Finally, Shibarmy Scam Alerts alerted the community about the growing presence of fraudulent websites, asking people to sync or rectify their wallets. According to the post, this is a malicious tactic designed to gain unrestricted access to users’ funds and information.

Consequently, it warned users against sharing their private keys or recovery phrases, adding that the community should not engage with messages that require them to sync or rectify their wallets.
