What Will XRP Be Like If Ripple Acquires Circle? CryptoQuant CEO, ChatGPT and Grok Answer!

Circle, the issuer of USDC, the largest stablecoin after Tether (USDT), has been on the agenda with possible acquisitions in recent days.

At this point, in April, there were reports that Ripple and Coinbase could acquire it. Accordingly, it was claimed that Ripple made an offer of $4 billion to $5 billion for Circle in April in 2025, but Circle rejected the offer because it found it too low.

Discussions about acquiring Circle have continued since then, with Circle allegedly still in informal talks with both Ripple and Coinbase, with new bids reportedly ranging from $6 billion to $11 billion.

As Ripple explores new investments as part of its growth strategy for 2025, it has become a matter of curiosity how the XRP price might move if Ripple acquires Circle.

First of all, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju said that XRP could benefit from Ripple’s acquisition of Circle.

Ki Young Ju stated that XRP is popular among professional investors in the capital market, and that despite its flaws, XRP movements appear sharp and calculated.

The famous CEO said that if Ripple acquires the USDC issuer, investors waiting for Circle’s initial public offering (IPO) could turn to XRP, which could push the XRP price higher.

Lastly, Ju added that he does not own XRP.

What Will Be the Price of XRP If Ripple Acquires Circle?

Apart from the CryptoQuant CEO, two other prominent AI models ChatGPT and Grok also predicted what the XRP price could be if Ripple acquires Circle.

Accordingly, ChatGPT predicted a significant upside for XRP if Ripple successfully acquires Circle. In the base case scenario, he predicted that XRP could reach between $3.50 and $4.50.

ChatGPT, in contrast, predicted that XRP could potentially rise to $6 or even $10. However, he noted that this bullish scenario is dependent on Ripple acquiring Circle for $6-8 billion, USDC being incorporated into Ripple Payments alongside RLUSD, and Ripple Payments experiencing a major increase in global adoption.

Grok, on the other hand, predicted that in the base case scenario, XRP could reach between $3.50 and $4.50.

Grok noted that while stablecoins like USDC do not directly affect the price of XRP, their integration could help propel the price higher, as it could increase XRP’s trading volume and utility within Ripple Payments. Grok last predicted that, at best, XRP could reach a price between $6 and $8.
