VeChain Launches StarGate With $15M in VTHO Incentives—Maximize Your Rewards
- StarGate launches July 1 with $15M in VTHO rewards, offering node access from 10K VET.
- New staking tools help users estimate returns and choose optimal tiers before the rollout.
VeChain has introduced a new staking system, StarGate, that will come into operation on the 1st of July, 2025. The program will include $15 million worth of VTHO incentives that are meant to reward earlier engagement and enhance network activity. A sum of 5.48 billion VTHO will be distributed through the system.

To incentivize adoption, #VeChain has allocated 5.48 billion $VTHO (approx. $15M) to kickstart StarGate. Users who secure their $VET early can take advantage of bonus rewards!

This system provides VET holders a chance to run nodes and gain daily VTHO rewards. As much as 10.65 billion VET has already been staked into the network, according to current estimates. It has an annual yield ranging from 1.8% to 9%, depending on how much is staked and the activity within the network.
Holders of the X-Node are to reap the greatest benefits, with Mjolnir X nodes expected to collect up to 35,000 VTHO per day. Thunder X nodes may collect approximately 9,800, Strength X collects 2,250, and a stake of 600,000 VET in VeThor X collects around 550 VTHO per day.
Reward Distribution Scales with Node Tier
Economic node owners will also gain considerable rewards. Mjolnir nodes (15 million VET) are allotted 28,000 VTHO per day, Thunder nodes (5 million VET) are allotted 7,000, and Strength nodes (1 million VET) yield 880. For smaller owners, there are also new levels like Flash (200,000 VET), Lightning (50,000 VET), and Dawn (10,000 VET), which pay 130, 28, and 5 VTHO per day, respectively.
To facilitate user engagement, VeChain has launched not one but two tools to assist in estimating returns. These are the VeChainStats VTHO Staking Estimator and Redeno’s Staking Calculator. Both of these are community-developed tools that enable users to simulate rewards from their own VET holdings and node tiers of choice.
The Redeno simulator, specifically, is notable for its power to automatically determine the best configurations by entering the amount of a user’s VET and node type. The VeChainStats variant has added features and graphical outputs, comparing current rewards and those of projects in the future based on the new system.
Hayabusa Upgrade Backs StarGate Rollout
The StarGate program is part of the larger Renaissance upgrade to VeChain that also entails the Hayabusa upgrade. Hayabusa also entails various technical improvements like reduced gas fees, increased speed of transactions, improved cross-chain communication, and increased privacy through zero-knowledge proofs. These are meant to enhance the ability of VeChainThor and expand its application among enterprise customers.
Available node levels have been created to make staking more within reach. With reduced entry points, smaller players are now able to participate in the functioning of the network and gain substantial returns, boosting engagement by various types of holders.
To support the rollout, there was a livestream session with CEO Sunny Lu, Communications Lead Jake Campton, and Product Manager Rosa Simeoli. The event will discuss the information regarding the StarGate program and the next developments of the network.
