Pundit Explains How XRP Could Hit $10,000 in AI-Driven Future Boom

Widely followed XRP commentator Armando Pantoja has revived the discussion around whether XRP could eventually reach a price of $10,000.

He acknowledged that many often dismiss this figure as unrealistic due to concerns over market capitalization. However, Pantoja argues that critics are missing a crucial variable: the rise of the AI Singularity.

He argues that when AI outnumbers humans ten to one, value will need to transfer instantly, causing the addressable market to expand dramatically and market caps to soar. In his view, XRP was designed for this future scenario.

Crypto’s Journey Through Crisis and Innovation

Pantoja places XRP’s future potential within the broader arc of cryptocurrency history. He explains that difficult times often lead to significant innovations. For example, the 2008 financial crisis and the U.S. government’s $700 billion bailout caused many to lose trust in traditional banks.

In the aftermath, between 2009 and 2012, Bitcoin quietly emerged, and XRP was created to make sending money as easy as sending light.

Meanwhile, the 2014 Mt. Gox hack was a dark moment for crypto, but ultimately helped the community grow stronger.

Between 2015 and 2017, Ethereum introduced the concept of “programmable money,” sparking the DeFi movement. Since 2017, crypto has grown increasingly mainstream, with banks and major corporations getting involved.

AI Singularity: Why It Changes Everything

Pantoja’s main thesis centers on the AI Singularity, a hypothetical future point at which artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence. He envisions a world where machines are not only highly intelligent but vastly outnumber humans, requiring access to resources and choosing crypto as the medium of exchange.

He believes that in a world run by machines, traditional financial systems will be too slow. Digital currencies like XRP, Bitcoin, and Ethereum will be essential because they can move value instantly and be programmed for complex tasks.

Market Caps “Once Thought Impossible”

In this context, Pantoja asserts that a leap to $10,000 per XRP becomes feasible when factoring in the exponential expansion of global markets driven by AI.

In a future where value moves at the speed of light, economies are automated, and wealth is measured by access to data and computing power, he argues that crypto will sit at the heart of the global financial system.

“Technology and money, once separate, are now merging,” he says. “With AI at our side, we mine the heavens for gold and metals. But crypto remains scarce, based on math and truth.”

The idea is that at $10,000 per XRP, the network would have massive liquidity enough to support trillions of dollars in transactions. For example, with today’s market cap around $170 billion, the XRP network can’t handle $1 trillion transfers.

But if 1 XRP were worth $10,000, the total value of the network would be approximately $500 trillion, making such large-scale transfers possible.

Still, as exciting as this vision sounds, it remains highly speculative and faces strong criticism. Nonetheless, proponents continue to push the idea.

XRP for the Future of Finance

According to Pantoja, the future of finance is already taking shape through three key innovations. Bitcoin serves as digital gold, a store of value. Ethereum is the foundation for programmable money and decentralized applications. And XRP is designed to be the global payment system of the future.

As AI creates new markets and rapidly expands the economy, Pantoja believes XRP and other cryptocurrencies could reach price levels that once seemed unimaginable.
