Myriad Protocol Launches With Multichain Expansion to Ethereum L2 Linea

Myriad is Evolving.

Six months ago, Myriad launched in its initial beta form. The main goal of the beta was to refine and optimize our platform and to shape the technologies alongside it that would support our primary goal of building a decentralized, multichain prediction market protocol.

We’ve now hit our technical milestones, validated our thesis and proven product market fit in the Abstract ecosystem. In parallel, our media arms (Decrypt and Rug Radio) have demonstrated one of the core use cases: Content distributors can leverage prediction markets to improve engagement, generate revenue, and make editorial strategy more>Today, we’re moving beyond that initial sandbox. We’ve always said that prediction markets should meet users where they already are; that key principle has helped shape and build this product from day one.

We are launching the Myriad Protocol, a multichain protocol designed to power prediction markets everywhere, for everyone. As prediction markets become ubiquitous in our digital life, the protocol will make it easy to integrate them into any platform or community.

The Protocol

With the recent upgrade in our tech stack comes the start of Myriad’s next chapter, a direct path to a decentralized, multichain prediction market protocol. With this in mind, today we are extremely excited to be launching protocol support for Linea!

Linea is the Ethereum L2 developed by Consensys that aims to “empower the world to live on-chain”. Spearheaded by Ethereum ecosystem leaders such as Joe Lubin, and together with the Linea community, it aims to drive significant advancements across on-chain experiences for everyone. This now includes prediction market offerings powered by the Myriad Protocol.

As we develop the Myriad Protocol on multiple chains, we’re building several key components to expand its capabilities through EigenCloud.

These components include trustless revenue sharing through AVS claim validation, censorship-resistant oracles, and synthetic tokens that represent stablecoin TVL positions and can be restaked into EigenLayer to earn extra yield.

We’re also working on the foundation for a unified liquidity hub for any EVM chain. We will share technical details about these implementations in the coming weeks.

Finally, we’re committed to progressive decentralization. We see this as critical infrastructure and a huge part of how the Myriad Protocol will operate. Over time, governance and validation will move to the community, supported by an oracle system and key community tools, and the protocol will ensure truth and transparency of all outcomes.

The Ecosystem

With every new integration comes a new ecosystem, new distribution partnerships, and new audiences. The Myriad Protocol is designed from the ground up to be available anywhere to anyone, seamlessly accessible and easily integrated.

Linea is a huge milestone for us, but we aren’t stopping there! More chains and products adopting the Myriad Protocol are soon to be announced alongside collaborations with application developers and media companies.

This is the next step in making prediction markets a staple and fundamental feature of the internet, all powered and fully backed by the Myriad Token (currently not live for trading).
