Liquidity Leasing Platform Glif Announced The Airdrop Of 100 MillionGLIF

The Glif project in the Filecoin ecosystem announced the airdrop of 100 million GLIF and presented the tokenomics of the asset. The community is provided with a 35% share of the offer, including 10% for the airdrop, 15.65% for investors, 29.35% for core participants and 20% for ecosystem development. According to the tokenomics, the total emission volume will be 1 billion GLIF. The tokens provided for the airdrop will be distributed among GLIF Points holders in a 1:1 ratio.

The project team launched a campaign to earn points at the end of March 2024. According to the official announcement, as of October 15, community members have received a total of about 82 million points. The developers are planning a token generation event (TGE) to distribute the remaining 18 million GLIF Points, followed by an airdrop. Project lead Jonathan SCHWARTZ said the TGE will likely take place in late 2024 or early 2025. Participants will then have a year to claim their rewards. The remaining tokens will go back to the treasury.

Airdrop participants will receive only 25% of the assets immediately. The remaining 75% will be distributed linearly over 180 days. The team and early participants will have a three-year vesting period, while investors will have a two-year vesting period. The tokenomics indicate that the team plans to create a GLIF Foundation that will be responsible for coordinating decisions made by GLIF holders.
