ArDrive Partners with NFT.NYC to Permanently Store Digital Art on Arweave

ArDrive, the storage platform built on the Arweave blockchain, has partnered with NFT.NYC to help creators permanently store their digital artwork. The data is saved in a decentralized way that keeps proof of ownership and protects it from deletion or loss. Using Arweave’s pay-once, store-forever system, files uploaded through ArDrive cannot be removed or changed.

Most NFT art is not stored directly on a blockchain, making it vulnerable to censorship or being lost if the server goes offline. ArDrive solves this by placing the full content on-chain. The platform recently helped recover Nike’s NFT collections after they disappeared from centralized storage. It has also preserved other well-known NFT projects such as CrypToadz, Degenerate Ape Academy, and Solana Monkey Business.

ArDrive has stored more than 18 million files over the last five years, including nearly 2,000 pieces of digital art. These files are now tamper-proof and verifiable. As the number of NFT holders is expected to reach 12 million by the end of 2025, ArDrive is promoting permanent digital storage as an important part of the growing digital art market.
