New Ethereum (ETH) Analysis from Standard Chartered! Which Trade is More Profitable?

Recently, the Ethereum ETF treasury strategy has increased and many companies have started to buy ETH.

While the Ethereum trend is expected to continue in the coming years, a new analysis has come from Standard Chartered.

Geoffrey Kendrick of Standard Chartered compared ETH ETFs to public companies buying Ethereum.

Kendrick assessed that buying stocks of companies that buy ETH is better than buying Ethereum ETFs.

According to Kendirck, Ethereum treasury companies have purchased 1.6% of all ETH in circulation since June, and that amount is now on par with ETH ETFs.

At this point, the analyst said treasury holdings are now very investable and present a stronger argument for investors than US spot Ethereum ETFs.

Kendrick noted that the net asset value (NAV) premiums for Ethereum treasury companies are now just above 1, making it a better buy option than US spot ETH ETFs due to staking and DeFi exposure.

Kendrick added that ETH treasury holdings are expected to grow faster due to the increased acceptance of cryptocurrencies by institutions as institutional reserve assets and ETH’s ability to generate returns.
