Tether and INHOPE Join Hands to Combat Online Child Exploitation

Tether, a major digital asset company and issuer $USDT stablecoin, has revealed that it has expanded its partnership with INHOPE, an international network dedicated to preventing online distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Through this prolonged association, the objective is likely to be to introduce more measures to deter the use of financial websites in carrying out child exploitation.

Tether has contributed towards the spotting and blocking of illegal transactions associated with CSAM since joining forces in 2023. Its blockchain-based infrastructural design enables transparent and traceable financial transactions that have been used to help in law enforcement and regulatory investigations. By collaborating with INHOPE, Tether can better the reporting systems and strengthen compliance within the cryptocurrency environment.
