Salad Tests Golem for Decentralized Cloud

Salad.com, a GPU cloud platform, has partnered with the Golem Network, a decentralized computing protocol. The collaboration will test if Golem’s decentralized infrastructure can handle Salad’s commercial computing workloads.

The engineering test aims to map a portion of Salad’s existing activity onto Golem’s network. This includes a range of services from AI inference to 3D rendering. The goal is to validate if decentralized protocols can support real-world, paid customer demand.

Salad currently uses centralized systems for payments and provider rewards. Integrating with Golem’s permissionless marketplace could streamline operations. The test will evaluate potential gains in cost efficiency and transparency.
