MoonPay Sponsors Network Behind Theo Von, ‘Full Send’ Podcasts

Crypto payments company MoonPay announced Thursday that it has entered a multi-year strategic partnership with Shots Podcast Network, making it the exclusive crypto partner for several major podcasts including “This Past Weekend with Theo Von” and the “Full Send Podcast.”

MoonPay read-in ads will appear across the network’s entire slate of shows, a company representative told Decrypt, with additional integrations possible over time.

As part of the deal, Shots Podcast Network CEO John Shahidi will join MoonPay as a creative advisor, according to a company press release. A representative said that Shahidi will help steer the firm’s MoonPay Minute newsletter and Modern Money podcast, as well as help boost distribution via X (formerly Twitter).

“John Shahidi is a visionary content creator, and the Shots Podcast Network are some of the most influential voices in media today,” said MoonPay President of Enterprise Keith Grossman, in a statement. “We’re thrilled to welcome John as a Creative Advisor at MoonPay and begin this multi-year partnership.”

A source close to the deal told Decrypt that the sponsorship deal with Shots is valued in the mid-seven figures, aka several million dollars. Crypto exchange Kraken was the previous sponsor of the Shots Podcast Network.

Shots has gained substantial traction with an audience of young, conservative listeners, with Theo Von and primary “Full Send” host Kyle Forgeard pulling notable right-wing guests in recent months including President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and Elon Musk.

The Full Send brand has also sold Trump apparel and merchandise in the past, and has collaborated with the likes of UFC as well. Other Full Send sponsors include the likes of Shopify and Gopuff.
