Is Justin Sun to Take Space Flight? Here’s What Blue Origin’s Tweet Says

A tweet recently published by Jeff Bezos’s space company suggests that it may be offering a space ride to crypto billionaire Justin Sun soon. It seems like Sun will become not only the first crypto billionaire but also the first person from the crypto industry to fly to space.

Sun to fly to space with Blue Origin

On May 29, the Tron founder, Justin Sun, addressed Blue Origin in his tweet, saying: “Hello @BlueOrigin👋Big things coming? I’m excited!” That tweet also contained Sun entering a spacecraft simulator, taking a seat, and leafing through a Forbes issue with his picture on the front cover.

The official Blue Origin X account tagged Sun in response, saying: “We look forward to seeing you in West Texas on a future New Shepard flight soon!”

In 2021, Justin Sun took part in yet another charity auction. This time, he placed a winning bid for the first seat on Blue Origin’s Inaugural New Shepard rocket. That bid amounted to $28 million, and it went to Blue Origin’s foundation, Club for the Future. This “benefited 19 space-based charities to inspire future generations to pursue careers in STEM and help invent the future of life in space,” according to a Blue Origin article.

Sun’s renowned lunch with Warren Buffett

Sun will have five crewmates along with him to take that space travel. Initially, this flight was planned to take place in 2022, but it was delayed. Sun is also well known for winning a chance to attend a charity lunch with the renowned investor Warren Buffett.

It cost Sun roughly $4.5 million in 2019, and the lunch took place in 2020, where the Tron founder brought along about ten other big figures from the crypto space, including the Litecoin founder, Charlie Lee, and the CEO of eToro, Yonni Assia. Changpeng Zhao was unable to attend, although he was also invited.

In the course of the lunch, the crypto influencers discussed the crypto space with Buffett, who remains a strong Bitcoin critic. Sun also presented him with a smartphone loaded with Bitcoin and TRX.

This year, Sun has taken part in the dinner organized by Donald Trump for the biggest holders of his TRUMP coin and also attended the Bitcoin 2025 event, where he met Michael Saylor, the Winkelvoss twins, and Trump Jr.
