Ari Paul, founder of BlockTower Capital, recently came to the fore with a striking statement about Bitcoin and former President Donald Trump.

In a tweet, Paul stated that he was skeptical about the US adopting Bitcoin as a strategic reserve in the next four years, but that he was also considering the possibility of Trump making such a statement.

Despite his doubts about actual implementation, he suggested that Trump could make this announcement, which he believes will be bullish for BTC in the medium term.

However, he was more cautious about the impact of an announcement that could be made on July 27:

“However, it seems plausible to me that Trump could say this, which would be very bullish for the BTC medium timeframe. Very bull. Not mega mega bull because I expect this announcement to be quickly dismissed and explained some other way. If Wall Street truly believed this would happen, then it would have immediately gone up anyway. But they don’t/won’t believe.”

Donald Trump will speak at the Bitcoin Conference, the largest BTC event, on May 27.
