CryptoQuant CEO Says More Upsides Are On The Way, Reveals Bitcoin (BTC) Price Prediction!

While the expectation that the Bitcoin price will rise to much higher levels continues, CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju said that the BTC price could reach $161,000.

Speaking at the 2025 Virtual Asset Conference held in South Korea on January 16, CryptoQuant CEO stated that there is new capital inflow into the market and supports the rise.

At this point, Ju noted that Bitcoin could potentially rise to $161,000 given the total capital inflow entering the market.

Ju stated that according to technical indicators, the BTC market has not yet reached an overheated state and that further increases are on the way.

South Korea: Land of Altcoins!

Ju also described the South Korean cryptocurrency market as the “land of altcoins.”

“In Korea, 97% of the trading volume is in altcoins, and this is entirely due to individual investor transactions rather than institutional transactions.

“Our country can be a leader in Bitcoin. For this, after the institutional restructuring, our country needs to open the door for institutions to enter the Bitcoin market. Because this move will provide us with the opportunity to grow as a leader in the Bitcoin era.”

CryptoQuant CEO recently made an interesting analogy for the largest altcoin Ethereum (ETH), stating that ETH is a stablecoin.
