While Donald Trump’s inauguration is expected on January 20 for Bitcoin to rise, analysts said that Trump’s inauguration will have a spot Bitcoin ETF effect on the market.

At this point, Pantera Capital analysts stated in their recent report that 2025 will be a symbolic year that will shape the Bitcoin and crypto markets in general, and that Trump’s inauguration will have a spot Bitcoin ETF effect on the market.

Analysts stated that Trump will push Bitcoin and altcoins even higher, and that Trump’s victory will be a case of buy the rumor, buy the news:

“The old Wall Street adage ‘buy the rumor, sell the news’ worked perfectly in the days when CME Bitcoin futures launched and Coinbase went public. But that adage has been invalidated by the launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs.

At this point, Bitcoin ETFs have become a case of ‘buy the rumor, buy the news’ and the US election will be another case of ‘buy the rumor, buy the news’.”

Pantera Capital, also evaluating the decline in Bitcoin, said that the decline in Bitcoin after exceeding $ 100,000 in December was related to monetary policy rather than political uncertainties.

Analysts said the possibility of a slower-than-expected Fed rate cut and a strengthening dollar are putting temporary pressure on risk assets such as Bitcoin.
