Analysis Company Says, ‘Big Moves in the Cryptocurrency Market Are Coming Soon,’ Explains

Cryptocurrency analytics company Alphractal, in its latest assessment, noted that declining interest in the crypto market is also reflected in onchain data. The company stated that stablecoin volumes, in particular, offer a strong indicator of market activity, liquidity, and risk appetite.

According to Alphractal, the decline in interest in Bitcoin and altcoins, as reflected in Google searches, Wikipedia views, and social metrics, is clearly felt on the on-chain side as well. This is most evident in stablecoin transaction volumes.

The analysis highlights USDT data on the Ethereum network. It notes that after a strong surge, the average on-chain volume has entered a downward trend. This outlook points to declining activity in DeFi, NFTs, and more sophisticated transaction types, often coinciding with periods of weaker market excitement.

On the USDT side of the Tron network, it is stated that after a long growth cycle, the momentum in volume growth has begun to slow down. Alphractal points out that USDT on Tron is heavily used globally for payments, remittances, and spot transactions, and that this slowdown may indicate a global recession in retail investor activity.

A different picture emerges on the USDC front. While USDC volume continues to increase across all chains, current levels are noted to be significantly below the peaks seen in November 2021. This reflects a more institutional and cautious usage profile, indicating that the typical “exuberant” trading behavior of bull markets has not yet been observed.

Alphractal notes that macro-level on-chain data conveys a common message: declining social engagement is leading to a decrease in on-chain activity; stablecoin data, meanwhile, points to a phase of market contraction or consolidation. According to the company, the current environment is more defensive and selective, making it highly sensitive to macroeconomic shocks.
