The price action was supported by a surge in trading volume on Binance, the primary exchange for VOXEL activity.

The quick gain marked one of the most notable intraday performances across the crypto market in April. Market participants focused on mid- and small-cap assets showed increased engagement in select altcoins tied to gaming, computing, and utility-focused networks.

Strong Moves from ALPACA, ALEO, and GMT

Alpaca Finance (ALPACA) posted the second-largest gain among tracked assets, rising 30.3% to reach $0.039. The token’s market valuation hit $35 million following the move. Aleo (ALEO), a project associated with privacy-focused applications, climbed 29.6% and was trading at $0.25 by the end of the session. Aleo’s market cap stood at $93.5 million.

Stepn’s GMT token also recorded an increase of 26.5%, closing the day at $0.057. The price movement brought GMT’s market capitalization to $163.7 million, placing it among the higher-cap tokens in the day’s gainer list.

REEF and AO Log Double-Digit Gains

REEF, trading at $0.00057, rose by 22.3%. The project, commonly associated with DeFi aggregation and liquidity protocols, was one of the more volatile small-cap assets in the market on April 19. AO Computer (AO), another top performer, saw its price jump 21.5% to $15.08. AO’s trading was particularly active on CoinEx and Binance, contributing to its strong upward movement.
