Top 10 Blockchain Ecosystems by Developer Activity in the Past 30 Days

The blockchain ecosystems exhibited the most developer performance through monthly contributions and system events. Recent sentiment data indicate that Ethereum led the blockchain market in developer activity accumulating 172,800 events through a 40.52% growth rate. The steady number of 1700 contributors alongside network development and engagement signals strong growth that matches its continuous upgrades to the ecosystem.

Polygon emerged as the second active system in terms of developer activity recording 77,000 events and a 46.08% growth rate. The network achieved a 2.69% increase by adding 686 contributors while expanding its contributor base. Development activity concentrates on Polygon because of its scalability features and reduced transaction expenses

Growth Among Emerging Contenders

BNB Chain maintained its spot as the third most active network through 76,900 events, bringing about a 38.36% growth and attracting 896 contributors to its platform. Despite the observed growth in the ecosystem, its contributor base decreased by 2.18%. The Optimism network became the fourth-ranked platform by achieving 64,400 events, which grew by an impressive 75.61% while adding 499 contributors, representing a 5.05% increase. BNB Chain demonstrates robust growth because it functions as a major layer-2 solution.

The layer-2 solution Arbitrum secured the fifth position by generating 64,200 events while recording a 52.07% rise in activity. The network enhancement achieved a new high of 558 participants, while contributors increased by 4.1%. Avalanche occupied the sixth spot with 50,200 events and a 51.77% boost in activity but only attracted 420 contributors who demonstrated slight growth.

Notable Trends in Other Blockchain Ecosystems

Cosmos and Solana secured positions seven and eight in the rankings as they experienced strong growth during the survey period. Cosmos recorded 45,400 events despite its growth rate reaching 45.19%, while contributor numbers declined by 5.31%. Activity on Solana increased by 57.8% as the network processed 43,400 events despite losing 10.75% of its contributors.

Rounding out the list, Harmony and Polkadot secured ninth and tenth places. Harmony recorded 43,000 events with a 35.77% increase but experienced a 2.41% drop in contributors. Polkadot saw 32,400 events with a 66% rise in activity and a 5.88% growth in contributors.
