The 10 Privacy Altcoins Developers Focus On Most Revealed! The Big Players Are Not at the Top

Cryptocurrency analytics company Santiment has revealed the privacy-focused cryptocurrency projects that developers are focusing on the most, based on data from the past 30 days.

According to Santiment’s study, which compiled data from the Sanbase platform, the projects on the list were ranked based on daily significant development activity on GitHub.

The report indicates that despite market fluctuations at the end of 2025, developer activity in privacy-focused projects remains vibrant.

According to data shared by Santiment, the top 10 privacy-focused altcoins with the most developer interest in the past month, and their developer scores, are ranked as follows:

1. Dash (DASH) – 48.47
2. NYM (NYM) – 26.70
3. HOPR (HOPR) – 18.97
4. Monero (XMR) – 5.73
5. Decred (DCR) – 5.20
6. Firo (FIRO) – 4.43
7. Zcash (ZEC) – 3.83
8. Verge (XVG) – 2.40
9. Conceal (CCX) – 1.33
10. Dusk (DUSK) – 1.27

DASH, NYM, and HOPR, which are on this list, also topped the previous month’s list. It’s noteworthy that XMR, the altcoin with the largest market capitalization, is not at the top of the list. Similarly, ZEC, which once experienced an extraordinary rally and became the largest privacy token, is also lower down the rankings.
