Shiba Inu Ecosystem Watchdog Issues Critical Warning About These New Tokens
Susbarium has issued a critical warning about new tokens teased as being affiliated with the official Shiba Inu ecosystem.
In a tweet on April 22, the community-driven scam token watchdog for the official Shiba Inu ecosystem warned about what it saw as a misleading advertisement. Susbarium highlighted new tokens it says were wrongly presented as affiliated with the network and cautioned against engaging with them based on the claims.
New Base Tokens Not Affiliated With Shiba Inu
The Shiba Inu securities outfit flagged new tokens native to the Ethereum layer 2 network, Base. It stressed that the deployer of the coins has been ostracized from the Shiba Inu ecosystem team, arguing that they neither have ties with Shib.io nor the official Shiba Inu ecosystem.

Interestingly, the promoter of the token is none other than Ragnar Shib, a prominent figure in the Shiba Inu community. Ragnar is an administrator in the Shiba Inu ecosystem Telegram group and has been an active voice in the SHIB community.
Yesterday, he launched several tokens, including the “Shiba is Shiba” on Zora, a social platform that allows users to create and deploy tokens on Coinbase’s Base network. Other deployed tokens include the “Happy Earth Day!” and “Woof!!!”
Meanwhile, Susbarium has clarified that although they came from a prominent member of the Shiba Inu ecosystem, the tokens have no affiliation with the network. The platform further urged the community to verify sources and avoid misleading claims.
Ragnar Reacts
The callout spurred a fracas in the Shiba Inu community, with Raganar criticizing Susbarium’s tweet. In an X post, the staunch enthusiast warned against the ecosystem’s watchdog, branding their activities misleading and self-serving. He claimed that Susbarium calls every project with which it has no affiliation a scam and urged caution while dealing with the platform.
I want to issue a strong warning about this account. Their suspicious activities are misleading and aimed at promoting their own interests while claiming that everything else is a scam—except the projects they are involved in! I urge everyone to be cautious when interacting with… https://t.co/RmzgGCGpCv

Furthermore, Ragnar highlighted that he never mentioned he was part of the Shiba Inu team, as the post claims. Moreover, he insisted that Susbarium’s efforts aimed to centralize the ecosystem and “seize control” of the SHIB and its official group.
Meanwhile, other reactions noted that Ragnar’s activity in the ecosystem has in no way been depicted as shady, but this remains under discussion. Recall that he denounced involvement with some NFT projects coined with his name in 2023, urging the community to be on guard against scam tokens.
