Nichome launches ‘Portal to Neo X’ with Izakaya Season 1 rewards program

Nichome has launched its platform designed to incentivize user engagement within the Neo X ecosystem. To kick things off Nichome has opened Izakaya Season 1, giving users the first opportunity to earn GAS rewards and other future opportunities by interacting with Neo X projects.

Nichome’s platform centers around its Treasure Chest mechanism, which allows users to stake GAS to receive chests containing potential rewards. To unlock a chest, users need to collect X Credits to obtain a KEY. X Credits can be earned by performing daily tasks, interacting with ecosystem projects, and bridging and staking NEO and GAS assets.

Unlocking the Treasure Chest will provide users with access to rewards such as token prizes and presale shares for future projects once Nichome introduces its Launchpad feature.

Izakaya Season 1

Izakaya Season 1 is live and will run until Feb. 10. It consists of 42 epochs, each 24 hours long. During Season 1, users can earn X Credits by checking in daily, engaging with Nichome’s social channels, completing swaps on the Carrot Swap platform, and following partner projects like Supernova Shards and Carrot Swap.

Participants can increase their X Credits by earning boost multipliers based on the amount of GAS staked on Neo X. The multipliers include:

• 1 GAS = 0.75x Boost
• 5 GAS = 1x Boost
• 20 GAS = 1.05x Boost
• 100 GAS = 1.25x Boost
• 500 GAS = 2x Boost

For the first seven epochs, asset migration is limited to between Neo N3 and Neo X. Beginning epoch eight, users will be able to migrate assets from other EVM blockchains via the Meson Finance cross-chain bridging protocol. Nichome plans to announce additional supported chains and new tokens in the near future.
