Attention XRP Investors! Former Ripple CTO David Schwartz Warns: “The Danger is Serious and Great!”

With hacking incidents in the cryptocurrency market continuing to increase daily, investors need to be very cautious.

At this point, Ripple’s former CTO, David Schwartz, warned $XRP investors against potential fraudulent activities.

Schwartz stated that scammers are now targeting $XRP holders and $XRP Ledger users on platforms like X, Instagram, and Telegram, noting a significant increase in airdrop and gift scams.

David Schwartz, in a post from his X account, issued a strong warning about a newly discovered vulnerability in Windows BitLocker. He described it as one of the most serious vulnerabilities he has encountered in years.

According to Schwartz, scammers are impersonating Ripple officials, offering fake rewards, and claiming they will double investors’ money or distribute free $XRP. These scammers are also using deepfake and phishing links to steal investors’ funds.

Schwartz stated that Ripple has never engaged in such activities, arguing that “the kinds of posts you see are most likely scams.” At this point, Schwartz emphasized that someone impersonating him on social media is “most likely a scammer.”

Users should avoid clicking on unknown links and should never share their private keys or approve dubious transactions.

“SCAM WARNING: There has been a significant increase in airdrop and giveaway scams targeting XRPL users recently. Any such posts you see are most likely scams.”

Anyone claiming to be me on Instagram, Telegram, or pretty much anywhere else is most likely a scammer.
