Will HBAR crypto extend its 14% weekly gain amid strong RWA development?

$HBAR crypto has rallied 14% this week as Hedera Hashgraph is aggressively positioning itself for the tokenization boom. According to Santiment data, the chain now leads in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization development with a 96.9% score.

Only Chainlink, Avalanche, and Stellar appeared to rival Hedera in terms of RWA-related developments. Still, it dwarfed Stellar and Avalanche by nearly 2x, underscoring how the chain is focused on one of the hottest narratives in the crypto market.

The update comes after a recent series of partnerships. In June, Archax announced plans to advance tokenized securities in Hedera with real-time streaming of cash flows. At that time, Gregg Bell, CIO at Hedera, billed the update as an ‘efficiency’ upgrade.

By enabling cash flows to move seamlessly with tokenised securities, we’re bringing greater efficiency, transparency, and precision to capital markets.

Another tokenization infrastructure builder, Asseto, joined the chain this month. Utila, an institutional stablecoin platform, also joined Hedera to offer custody and wallet platform services.

That said, the RWA interest, with this week’s renewed momentum for the crypto bill, the CLARITY Act, lifted the $HBAR token price, triggering a 14% recovery.

Will $HBAR crypto extend its rally?

On the daily price chart, however, the market structure was yet to flip bullish despite the 14% run. An extended uptrend could be confirmed if there is a decisive daily candlestick close above the 50-day Moving Average (MA, white line) and $0.076.

If such a scenario plays out, the next upside target will be the 200-day MA(blue line) at $0.09. That would imply an 18% upside potential if the target is hit.

A rejection at the 50-day MA would reinforce short sellers’ dominance and invalidate the bullish outlook discussed above. In such a case, another $HBAR pullback to the July support around $0.065 couldn’t be overruled.

Overall, price levels below the 50-day MA seemed to be a key buying interest for long-term bulls, especially whales. According to CryptoQuant, the current values have attracted significant whale interest, as shown by green bubble maps (big whale orders).
