BUILDon rallies as holders hit record 87,320 – Can B extend its gains?

BUILDon [B] has delivered double-digit percentage gains in the past day at press time, as sentiment strengthened in the market. According to the analysis of price, a major contributor to its price trending higher has been the surge in its holder count this month.

Since September began, there have been an additional 160 new holders in the market, bringing the total to an all-time high of 87,320 holders, according to the press-time reading on CoinMarketCap.

The volume-price analysis also supports the present bullish trend in the market, with roughly a 39% surge in market volume, reaching over $17.3 million across the spot and perpetual markets.

A surge in volume and price at the same time suggests that there is strong momentum that could possibly guarantee a continued upward swing in price in the near term.

Perpetual market shows strength

Tracking the activities of investors in the perpetual market, there has been clear interest, suggesting a high chance that price could surge further.

The Funding Rate climbed to one of its highest levels of the month at 0.0179%, showing that traders positioned most of the capital in B’s perpetual contracts for a rally.

Presently, CoinGlass reported roughly $31 million worth of capital in B’s Open Interest, which represents the capital in BUILDon’s perpetual contracts. Roughly 15%, or $4.77 million, came in over the past 24 hours.

This implies that while price rallied, investors were funding B’s contracts with more capital as they bet on the upside in anticipation of a run in the near term.

What’s next for price

B’s recent rally comes after just breaching a resistance level of a descending channel pattern.

Descending channels are levels on the chart that are formed from declining parallel support and resistance lines. Price tends to oscillate between these levels when trading within them, with the upper level, or resistance, acting as a boundary.

The recent breakout rally means that there is strong bullish momentum. However, price needs to surge further, and subsequent candles need to remain above this level to confirm the rally.

Using the Aroon indicator, there is bullish momentum, although it does not yet represent a completely strong bullish trend. Currently, the Aroon Up is at 100%, while the Aroon Down, which is declining, is at 21%. Should the Aroon Down drop to 0% while the Aroon Up remains at 100%, then it would confirm a definitive bullish trend.

Likewise, the Money Flow Index (MFI) has been on the positive side while rising. When the MFI is in the positive region above 50, it implies that more capital is flowing into the asset and that buyers are stepping into the market to purchase it.

For now, there is a strong bullish outlook for B, though investors still need to watch for changes across these metrics.
