Virtuals Protocol Adds Auto Verified Badge for Genesis Agents
- Virtuals Protocol now applies verified badges automatically to Genesis agents when duplicates or spoofed tokens are detected.
- The platform expands its ecosystem with AI-driven tools like Backroom, PrimoAI, and autonomous agent communication through ACP.
Amid the increasingly crowded world of blockchain-based digital agents, Virtuals Protocol has taken an interesting new step: the “Verified” badge for Genesis agents is now automatically given. But don’t imagine that all agents will immediately get this badge.
Only when a duplicate or fake version appears, the system will mark the official agent with the badge. The goal is clear—to protect users from confusion and potential fraud.
This feature is like a silent alarm. As long as everything is running normally, the badge may not appear. But when there is a fake Genesis token that tries to imitate, the system immediately signals to users which one is truly official. Not only is this a technical trick, this approach actually feels practical. Just imagine having to check each Genesis token one by one just to make sure it’s authentic? It’s complicated, and not necessarily accurate either.
Genesis Update: Verified Badge Now Automated
To reduce confusion and protect the Virgens, the Verified badge is now applied automatically to official Genesis agent tokens, but only in cases where duplicate or spoofed versions appear.
We’ve seen attempts to manipulate token…

Virtuals Protocol Unleashes Backroom, PrimoAI, and Agent Autonomy
Interestingly, this update comes just a few weeks after Virtuals introduced Backroom—an AI-driven protocol for turning raw data into tradable crypto insights. The way to access it is not arbitrary either. Users need to hold a special token called Key, which is directly linked to each Room in the Backroom ecosystem.
On the other hand, CNF reported that the agent ecosystem in Virtuals is also growing. Through PrimoAI, for example, property agents can operate as autonomous digital agents directly on the blockchain. So yes, if you are a property agent who usually works from morning to evening, now you can “work” continuously 24 hours—without having to stay up late. AI tokenization makes that possible.
Furthermore, last March, this platform also launched ACP or Agent Communication Protocol. With ACP, digital agents can interact with each other and even manage their own wallets and resources. So yes, humans can rest, agents keep working.
Apart from the various features and updates, the market response to Virtuals Protocol has also shown enthusiasm. When this article was written, its native token, VIRTUAL, was trading at around $1.69. A 21.63% surge in 24 hours is not a figure that can be considered a passing wind. Moreover, its market cap has now reached $1 billion. A psychological figure that usually makes investors start to take a more serious look.
However, of course this automatic badge is not a magic solution that solves all digital security problems. But as an extra layer of protection, especially in an increasingly complex environment, it’s a smart move.
