The project associated with the Trump memecoin transferred—last Wednesday, August 26—a total of $1 million in digital assets to 10 United States companies. The distribution concluded the America First Business Challenge following nearly three months of evaluation.

The initial call was announced in April 2026 during conferences held at Mar-a-Lago. A total of 616 firms applied to the program, with 36 securing preliminary approval. The final distribution comprised a top grant of $250,000, six awards of $100,000, and three allocations of $50,000.

To participate in the selection and voting process, applicant companies were required to connect digital wallets holding the $TRUMP token. According to market reports, this technical requirement pushed large-volume wallet holdings to five-month highs ahead of the event’s official launch.

Protocol Terms and Commercial Liquidity Restrictions

The official GetTrumpMemes.com website defines the asset as an expression of symbolic support rather than an investment contract. The legal document specifies that the issued units carry no transactional integration with vendors or traditional commercial payrolls.

Recipient companies must turn to secondary exchange platforms to convert the awarded tokens into fiat currency. Market data suggests that selling these funds could interact with a concentrated supply structure. Out of the 1-billion-unit cap, only 250.9 million are circulating on the open market as of August 27, 2026.

CIC Digital LLC and Fight Fight Fight LLC manage 80% of the locked supply. Both entities collect direct fees derived from transactions processed across the network.

In May 2025, a similar campaign offering access to a private dinner drove user purchases of more than $145 million in the asset. Following the conclusion of that contest, a group of 26 U.S. lawmakers sent a letter to the Department of Justice noting that at least 34 of the top 220 participants liquidated most of their holdings once the event ended.

The token’s trading volume averaged $642 million daily as of August 27. The price of the Trump memecoin stood at $2.74 after posting a 25% gain over the past 24 hours. Despite this rebound, the price remains 96.3% below its all-time high set in January 2025, having touched a low of $1.37 on August 13, 2026.

The organization behind the challenge has not disclosed the public identity of the 10 winning corporations. Verification on Solana block explorers will depend on the contest organizers formally publishing the list of beneficiaries and their respective on-chain addresses.
