Top 10 Altcoins That Crypto Developers Have Been Focusing On the Most in the Last Week – Here’s the List

Cryptocurrency developers’ activity on GitHub over the past week continues to keep abreast of technical advances in the industry.

The projects and ecosystems that saw the highest developer interest as of June 2025 have been announced. Cardano (ADA) and Ethereum (ETH) topped the list.

Cardano finished the week in first place by a wide margin in core developer activity. A total of 53 developers contributed to Cardano’s 550 core repos with 355 core commits. These figures earned Cardano first place on a weekly basis. While there was a 0.3% increase in the number of commits on a monthly basis, there was a 9.8% decrease in the number of developers.

Cardano’s ecosystem-wide activity was on a downward trend, with 1173 commits (-25.26%) and 176 developers (-19.92%) showing a decline compared to previous months.

Ethereum, while underperforming in terms of direct core contributions, stands out with its ecosystem scale. 1567 projects running on the Ethereum network were supported by a total of 1572 developers this week. Developers made 24,144 commits to these projects. However, there was a 24.68% decrease in the number of developers and an 18.04% decrease in the number of commits.

Here are the altcoin projects according to the number of commits made by developers in the last week:

  4. Flow (FLOW) – 166
  5. Hedera (HBAR) – 165
  6. Mina (MINA) – 157

  10. MultiverseX (EGLD) – 99

Additionally, the number of commits made in the ecosystems of these projects is also remarkable:
