Ethena Partners with Centrifuge on RWAs

Ethena, a $USDe-developer, has selected Centrifuge, a blockchain platform for tokenized assets, as its strategic tokenization partner after completing a review process focused on RWAs. The decision marks the first time Ethena has diversified its collateral holdings with tokenized traditional financial products.

As part of the partnership, Ethena will allocate capital to JAAA, a tokenized version of the Janus Henderson Anemoy AAA CLO ETF. The product was created on-chain by Centrifuge together with Janus Henderson.

The agreement also highlights the growing relationship between Janus Henderson and Centrifuge. What began as experimentation with blockchain technology has gradually developed into large-scale institutional use cases in the digital asset sector.

Ethena and Centrifuge said they will continue exploring new opportunities to expand the use of real-world assets within the $USDe ecosystem.
